At St. Mary's Parish Preschool, we believe that each child is a precious gift from God. Every child should know that they are loved by and valuable to God, their creator. We believe in nurturing the whole child to provide maximum growth in all aspects; in the development of a positive self-esteem; that learning should be fun and full of hands on activities;  and all children should be given the opportunity to develop in their own way.

Children at St. Mary Preschool will:

Experience a child-centered environment that encourages learning through exploration, discovery and play.

Grow in their faith.

Show a Christian attitude in every day activities.

Learn new social skills to assist them in conflict resolution and problem solving.

Participate in Phonemic Awareness and Letter Identification activities.

Practice Kindergarten readiness skills.

Learn about their communities and participate in community service while on field trips.

Be exposed to literature.

Develop gross and fine motor skills.

Develop listening skills.

Instructional Areas include: Religion, Large motor skills, Pre-math, Communication, Listening skills, Music, Computer, Library, and Pre-writing.
